Last updated: 19 September 2026

This policy applies to EcoRollers sold by Water Rollers Africa, subject to the statutory rights that may apply to a customer under South African law.

Product warranty

The EcoRoller is supplied with a two-year product warranty based on the technical information provided for the product.

This warranty is in addition to any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

What the warranty is intended to cover

The warranty applies to verified defects in materials or workmanship arising during normal, intended use within the warranty period, subject to inspection and the exclusions below.

Intended use

The EcoRoller is designed to move water by being pushed or pulled by hand.

It is not designed to be attached to or towed behind a quad bike, tractor, truck or other vehicle.

Product life can vary depending on terrain, frequency of use, care and operating conditions.

What is not covered

To the extent permitted by law, the warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect or accident
  • Towing the EcoRoller behind a vehicle or using it outside its intended manual push/pull purpose
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper storage, handling or maintenance
  • Use that materially exceeds the product’s intended design or operating conditions
  • Loss or damage caused after delivery by third parties or circumstances unrelated to a product defect

Replacement parts

Replacement components may be available for serviceable parts such as the handle, bushings and caps.

Availability and pricing of replacement parts can be confirmed by WRA at the time of enquiry.

How to make a warranty claim

Contact sales@waterrollersafrica.org and provide:

  • Your order number or other reasonable proof of purchase
  • A description of the fault
  • When the issue first occurred
  • Clear photographs or video where useful
  • Your contact and delivery details

WRA may request additional information or inspection of the product before approving a warranty remedy.

Warranty remedy

Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, WRA will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement of a component, replacement of the product or another remedy required by applicable law.

The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature of the defect and the customer’s legal rights.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this warranty limits any mandatory right or remedy available under the Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable South African law.
